At home, concepts of daily living are taught and independence in such skills is highly encouraged. All areas are covered with respect to hygiene and personal care, meal preparation and other domestic household chores. One evening is set aside for programmes designed to encourage creative artistic expression and on another evening, we concentrate on pre-academic, fine motor, cognitive and communicative skills to reinforce what is being taught at school.
