Oakdale also receives support from Surrey Place Centre through the availability of interdisciplinary clinical assessment and treatment from the Children and Youth Division. This service is provided on a consulting basis from the Behavioural Science Research and Education Division.

The focus is management consultation, staff and supervisory development and clinical behaviour consultation. These projects were developed co-operatively and have been published in the professional literature and communicated at professional conferences.
